We're here for you. We provide support to help you make your own decisions. Empowerment comes from knowing all your options before making decisions. If you're a UC Davis student, staff or faculty, the Campus Violence Prevention Program offers everything from counseling and supportive response after assault, including prosecution and advocacy, to sexual health education and self defense classes.

If you're experiencing relationship violence or want to learn more about preventing it, give us a call at (530) 752-3299. After hours you can access a 24 hr. crisis line by calling (530) 662-1133, if you want to talk to a campus violence prevention person call: 752-1230 and ask to speak with a CVVP advocate. You can also call (911) for emergency assistance on campus.

If you're not a UC Davis student, check out your local rape crisis center, health center, or police department for more information on reporting violence, free counseling and support and assistance in prosecution. Or call the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) hotline at: 1-800-656-HOPE, or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE or 1-800-787-3224 (TDD). They can offer assistance and refer you to the appropriate local resources.
If you would just like to learn more about preventing sexual violence, visit any of the following web sites for more in-depth information on the subject as well as other services and support.

You have the right to survive, which means that you have the right to request everything that you need in making the transition from victim to survivor.
