Julie and
Sharon, the Graphic Girlz
Designing Images That Inspire
"New technology, challenging
communication issues, tight deadlines--nothing scares us," say Julie Stege and Sharon
Kenny, owners of Graphic Girlz, a Berkeley-based design studio that helps clients put
their best face forward.
"Projecting a professional image is
critical for growing a business," says Julie. "Too often, business owners put
marketing communications on the back burner. They don't realize this delay could mean
losing revenue."
Making a Lasting Impression
"Whether you use the Internet,
advertising, direct mail, catalogs, magazines, newsletters, or promotional items like
T-shirts, each communication reflects your business," says Julie. As
professionally-trained visual communicators with a combined thirty years of experience,
Julie and Sharon know it takes solid design and meticulous production to create a
positive, lasting impression. "Thats why we oversee the entire production
process from concept to completion to make sure the integrity of the design is maintained
throughout," Julie says.
Is the 'real' you coming through? Graphic
Girlz suggests taking a closer look at your communications. Does your logo convey the
essence of your business? Are your brochure, newsletter, business card and Web Site
consistent in style and content; or are they a patchwork quilt of unrelated images and
words? Are they visually striking? Will they make that lasting impression?
"If you answer 'no' or 'I don't know' to
any of these questions, it's time to move your marketing communications to the front
burner," says Sharon. "We are willing to take on any challenge to find solutions
to your communication needs. Graphic Girlz offers a complimentary one-hour initial
consultation, and if you live anywhere in the Bay Area, well even come to you."
With You Every Step of the Way
Before beginning work at the drawing table or
computer, the Graphic Girlz team talks with clients to learn about their business goals,
philosophy, successes, challenges and ideas. "Then we discuss which promotional tools
would be best for you to reach your target market," says Sharon. "And, we keep
an eye on your budget."
This information is taken back to the Graphic
Girlz studio where the research, sketching and computer design begin. "Since both
Julie and I are artists we can brainstorm the best creative direction to take," says
Sharon. "As a result, the project is fine-tuned before our client sees it."
"We truly enjoy working with clients in
creating timeless, dynamic marketing communications," says Julie. "We are
rewarded when we produce a beautiful piece that stands out from other designs in
communicating and in inspiring action."
